Punched Tin

Punched tin is considered a traditional art and can be seen throughout the Southwest.  An old tin can or a sheet of tin is first molded into a shape and then punched with a sharp object to produce a design.  These shapes with designs were then used not only for utilitarian purposes, but for decoration as well.
